Roughshod is available to work in secondary schools (Years 7-13) and primary schools (Years 5 & 6 only), giving presentation performances to large groups of students, taking assemblies, RE or PSE lessons for single classes, and running drama workshops and lessons.
The fast-paced, sharply relevant style of Roughshod’s performances in schools provokes thoughtful debate, and gives students an invaluable opportunity to meet young, professional actors.
What the teachers say…
‘I was very impressed, not just with you but the kids, they were totally engaged all the way through and responded really well, and these are usually very difficult kids so I take my hat off to you!’

‘Fantastic work with some usually quite troublesome classes, especially on a last thing on a Friday, so thank you’
Hall Mead School, Cranham
‘Can I just say how remarkable what you’ve just done was? I’m usually cynical about what theatre in education can do in such a short space of time but I’m amazed… I’m actually going to ditch my lesson plan and discuss what you did and what they got from it..’
St George’s CE School
