Dementia Resources

Simeon’s Watch is a play about how a particular family adjusts to the problem of dementia. It came from an earlier project which sought, using theatre-skills, to develop a fresh approach which might enable carers and relatives to engage with people with dementia in new ways. We are still on that journey but we hope the ideas and links below might be of use to you.

Simeon’s Watch: Special Thanks To…

We have been greatly privileged to be supported and advised by many people including those living with dementia, their carers as well as medical professionals.

We are particularly indebted to Val Ellis and the staff and residents of Hartrigg Oaks, the practitioners Sarah Lee and Vicki Hackett and a wonderful Steering Group. This group is comprised of two general practitioners, a clinical psychologist, an academic, two family carers, a Dementia Friends Champion, and a person living with dementia. Without their time and expertise this project would not have been possible.
